Convert the supplied HTML into a new selectable static PHP page template in the existing WordPress theme.
Use the HTML for the page’s content and layout, and the existing theme’s global design system for its styling.
Inspect theme.json and the shared CSS first. Reuse existing fonts, colours, typography, spacing, widths, buttons, links and form styles.
Replace conflicting HTML styles with the theme’s established styles.
Preserve the HTML’s layout and responsive structure where compatible.
Add only necessary page-specific layout CSS, scoped to this template and loaded only when it’s used. Don’t paste the HTML’s full stylesheet into the theme or duplicate existing global rules.
Reuse the shared WordPress header, footer and editable navigation.
Extract any embedded images into theme assets and use WordPress asset URLs.
Create a page using the template. Keep existing pages and homepage settings unchanged, then run a quick PHP, asset and mobile-layout smoke test.
